Course for General Practitioners
Aim: To upgrade the knowledge, skills and attitudes of Family Physicians according to the internationally acceptable standards
By the end of this CME activity each participants should be able to;
Objectives
- Demonstrate proficiency in history taking and physical examination with excellent communications skills
- Consciously observe principles of ethics and professionalism in his/her practice
- Appropriately use different clinical equipment and charts
- Interpret common first line laboratory and imaging investigations and make appropriate inferences
- Diagnose and manage independently the common presentations encountered in family practice
- Recognize, stabilize and timely and appropriately refer conditions that need to be managed by appropriate specialists because of their severity or their potential complications
- Provide preventive health care across the spectrum of different stages of life
- Develop a pathway of structured continuous professional development (CPD)
