Procedure to apply for MRCGP (INT)
Simply apply for the exam by submitting fee and filling the Application form. There are no workshops or any other formality.
Fee Structure
Fee is submitted to MRCGP (INT) South Asia through website
- Fee for written exam is 400 pounds
- Fee for practical exam is 500 pounds
Please note that candidates appearing from Middle East will pay fee of 400 pounds for written and 520 pounds practical exam.
- Preparatory course fee is Rs. 40,000/–
- Overseas Candidate: $400/–
When does registration process start?
- Two months before the examination
When is MRCGP (INT) exam held?
Written examination is held twice a year i.e. May and November
Practical exam is held twice a year i.e. March and September.
What are the parts of MRCGP (INT) in Family Medicine examination?
- Written Paper I: 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in 3 hours
- Once you get RTMC Registration, and then apply for CPSP mandatory workshops.
- AOSCE 14 stations of full consultation
- OSCE stands for Objective Structured Clinical Examination
Where are the centers for written paper?
Written exam in Karachi and Lahore
What is the center for OSCE?
OSCE in March is held in Karachi and OSCE in September is held in Colombo (Sri Lanka).
How many chances are there in MRCGP (INT) in Family Medicine?
- Written; There is “No” limit for written exam
- Practical: Only three chances or maximum duration of five years after passing written exam

This course is also available online streaming and via web portal all material with videos will send you via e-portal, you can watch online or download.
Certificate Course in Family Medicine:
The same MCPS/MRCGP [INT] course is available to those doctors who do not have five-year experience. They can attend the course and learn Family Medicine and they will be awarded a Certificate in Family Medicine and 100 CME hours.
