INTRODUCTION
Clinical research has become crucial component of curriculum in post-graduate training, along with clinical and academic components. Whereas, dissertation writing and/or research article publication is a mandatory requirement for post-graduation of trainees and promotion of faculty respectively. Therefore, a comprehensive Clinical Research Certificate Course (RRCC) has been designed to train young faculty and residents to conduct high quality medical research which may be published in National and International journals. It aims to provide fundamental knowledge and skills to conduct clinical research through a series of interactive sessions, hands on workshops, individual feedback upon assignments and synopsis presentation.
Objectives
- Develop a Protocol for a project according to the principles of Research.
- Independently develop a quality protocol as a requirement for their thesis/CPSP dissertation/research article.
- Receive constructive feedback on their research protocol by a field expert.
